You have a blog.

Great.

But, you are having a hard time driving traffic to your new blog posts, and you often ask yourself how can a new blogger actually generate a lot of blog traffic – fairly fast?

How To Drive Traffic To Your Blog Post – Fast. (Download My Traffic Cheat Sheet For FREE)

The truth about blog traffic

It’s not such a big challenge to get more people to read your blog posts and build an audience.

If you know exactly what to do and how to do it (how to promote online and how to convert), you can generate a lot of blog traffic consistently and build the income you want.

There are many ways to get a lot of traffic to your new blog posts – and you need to learn HOW today.

I’m going to share with you the same strategies I have been using myself to build up the traffic flow to this internet marketing blog.

I’ve put together a blog promotion cheat sheet with all of my resources for fast traffic generation – and I’m going to hand it to you for free.

I really want to help you get more traffic to your blog posts.

It’s fair to say that this would work best if you are in a similar niche to mine.

But, I’m also going to share with you 14 blog traffic generation hacks you can implement to drive more traffic to a blog in any niche.

You can download my traffic101 ebook where you will learn 101 ways to drive traffic – here.

Now, before you get to download my blog promotion cheat sheet, let me talk to you about the importance of blog conversions real quick.

This is such a super important part of the process of building a profitable blog online.

Let’s begin with a simple question.

Why are you building your blog?

My best guess to this question would be that you are building your own blog because ultimately you want to build an online income from it. Right.

Right.

You want what I call the MTL Freedom Lifestyle. In other words; the dot-com lifestyle.

What does MTL stand for? – I’m glad you asked!

Money – Time – Location.

Running your own internet business (or online business) allows you to have real freedom with money, time, and location.

You can build a passive income using the power of the internet and blogging.

This type of income will allow you to have more free time to enjoy life and spend it with family and friends.

It is an amazing and powerful business model.

There are so many average people earning thousands of dollars every month with such business model.

And this business model will also allow you to work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a reliable internet connection.

So, it gives you real money-freedom, real time-freedom, and real location-freedom.

You get what I’m saying here?

I’m sure you have already read the success stories.

And maybe these success stories have inspired you to make the decision to build your own niche blog.

The common newbie problem

I often come across blogs that I know are getting a good amount of traffic every single day (because I’m a nerdy stalker) – and when I dig deeper on some of these blogs – I learn how much money they are earning each month (income reports).

And, I get a little disappointed, to be honest.

Why?

You see, I actually truly care about people.

And I know, for a fact, that if they improve and tweak a few things on their blog and the way they are doing things to increase conversions – they could double or even triple their profits.

This is why I do what I do here.

I want to educate you on the right internet marketing and blogging knowledge.

So you can build your blog and business the right way and live the life you want to actually live.

Here is the thing; if you are going to work hard on driving traffic to your blog – please make sure your blog is ready to convert as much of this traffic into subscribers and sales as possible.

How you should drive traffic to your blog is not very hard to understand.

You see, the formula for more traffic is simple.

I’m going to be super honest with you here, I don’t really think traffic is your biggest challenge.

You do need a lot of traffic, that is true, but there are more things you need to work on as hard too – if you want to accomplish your goals.

Let’s say you are already getting a good amount of targeted traffic to your blog, but you are not making good money (or any money) from that revenue and haven’t for a while. You seem to have hit a plateau.

Should you put all of the blame on your traffic?

I don’t think so. And you will learn why.

Let’s keep the discussion going.

Blog conversions is the secret

This is what will help you build that online income you are chasing.

You could drive a lot of traffic to your blog but if your conversion rates are very freaking low, you are not going to get the results you are looking for in the amount of time you are desiring to get them and eventually you might burn out.

This happens more often than you think.

This is why we have the statistics that we have.

More than 90% of people who start a blog – fail.

They say most people who start a blog with the intent to build an income from it – quit in the first 3 months.

I don’t like these statistics much. But, I understand it is human psychology; the more time you spend on something without a reward, the harder it will be to keep at it.

Newbies need to learn the right knowledge and the truth.

It does take a lot of time and effort to build a profitable blog online.

Blogging can be a legit business.

And if you want it to pay you like a business then work on it like it is a real business. Because it is.

That’s obvious.

You have to invest time, effort, and money. Just like you would in order to build any other type of business.

Blogging and internet marketing have tremendous potential to give you life changing income.

Just go ask Pat Flynn how he is doing with his blog. This guy is earning a 6-figure income every single month thanks to blogging and internet marketing.

Yes, I said every month, not every year. That’s insane, isn’t?

I’m sure you are aware of the tremendous life-changing potential in this industry by now.

Every single detail matters

Your blog needs to be on point right from the get-go.

You have to think about this; what you actually want is an audience and email list that will buy from you when you offer something of value.

The traffic that you generate will help you build this.

But, traffic alone will not do the trick.

You need high conversions.

You need to turn as many of your visitors into loyal readers and subscribers.

What helps with blog conversions?

User-experience (UX) and user-satisfaction.

This means your blog needs to be seamless and over-deliver in value to your niche audience.

It is super duper important that you work on how your blog looks and how it is structured.

Give your visitors great user-satisfaction.

The content that you publish often should also be of the highest quality.

Outwork your competition

Deliver way more value than the other bloggers in your niche.

This is a no-brainer.

Here is a tip.

When you are doing your keyword research, take a very close look at the top 10 search results.

Analyze each page carefully. Pay close attention to every single detail.

Ask questions like this;

How is the user-experience of the page?

How valuable is the content they are sharing for that specific keyword?

What caught most of your attention when you saw the page in the search results?

And so on.

You have to be a smart blogger.

Once you gather enough data on your competition, work on delivering way better content than them.

Of course, you will have to also work on the traffic, don’t think that because you have a better blog site and content – that is enough for your blog to do better.

Everything matters here.

By following this advice you will notice your search engine ranking improve as well.

I talk about this in better details in this blog post. Bookmark it and read it later.

Let’s keep going here.

You probably want to download my blog promotion cheat sheet already.

Come on Freddy!!!

Okay okay.

Inside this cheat sheet, you will find blogging community sites where you can share your new blog posts and blog directories where you can submit your blog (it can help with backlinks).

I’ve also included the social network groups where I share my new blog posts.

I have done all of the homework and tedious work for you already.

So, please do me a quick favor, will ya!

And you can download my blog promotion cheat sheet below by supporting this blog.

How to use this cheat sheet

I suggest you to create an account in the blogging community sites I’m sharing with you and every time you have a new blog post share it in them.

It is important that you read the guidelines of each one of these sites. Also, you want to actually become an active member of these blogging community sites.

Becoming an active member, engaging, leaving comments, and sharing members blog posts on your social networks is a must if you want to benefit from these blogging community sites.

The blog directory sites are for a one time use only. This means you will submit your blog once and that’s it.

I’ve included free and paid sites.

Another thing that I do to promote my new blog posts (and also old blog posts) is share them in as many social network groups as possible.

I have gathered a bunch of social groups with thousands of members where you can share your most valuable blog posts consistently. I would share new and old blog posts in these groups daily.

Important tip: there is a limit to how many social groups you can join in a 24 hour period, so make sure you are aware of this and follow the rules without freaking out.

I have an organized way to promote on these social groups using my web browser. You can learn how I do it in this blog post – the tips are for facebook groups but you can use the same strategy for any other social network.

Once you have published your new blog post – promote it like a maniac.

Trust me. If you do this consistently, you will start to pick up traffic momentum.

But you got to promote every single day!!

Of course, you will not be promoting like crazy forever.

Eventually, you will build an audience and a subscribers list.

Over time, you are not going to have to be promoting as much and you can outsource a lot of this work as you make money and reinvest back into your blogging business.

Just make sure your blog is fully optimized for email marketing.

Build your list

You want to benefit from all of the traffic you are going to be driving as much as possible.

Again, become a smart blogger.

Don’t let all of your hard work yield little to zero results.

It can happen. I’m telling you!

If you need help with your blog design and email marketing optimization for higher conversions you can actually hire me to do this for you. You can reach out to me here.

Super note on syndication Freddy. I am really really really big on Triberr. I publish a post and the plug in thingee populates Triberr instantly. Then I share folk’s content through the platform to be generous, to make buddies and to pop up on the radar. Win-win across the board because when you share posts to large tribes and generously help others, the bonds you build pay immense returns over the long haul. I have like a bazillion reach on Triberr last time I checked LOL. But really though; seeing guys like John Rampton speak at a conference last year underscored why getting syndicated on sites expands your reach pronto.

    Thanks for the fabulous post.

      Hey Ryan!!

I did my best to share as much value as possible on how to drive traffic to a blog post for the newbies out there and for an experienced blogger as well. I like Triberr as well, it is a great tool that automates a lot of your sharing.

Sharing is caring. And the more you give the more you receive. The law of the universe, right. 🙂

It’s all about sharing and really caring about your niche audience and your fellow bloggers in the same niche. We all can accomplish a lot more if we just worked together to help even more. That is true and proven.

Thank you so much for coming by and showing your support! I appreciate it!

    Hey Freddy,

Great tips and I totally agree with you, getting traffic is not has difficult as most people seem to make it. I’ve found that if I focus on just a few traffic strategies I tend to have the best results.

When I first started my blog, I was trying to be everywhere. Needless to say, I didn’t accomplish anything. All that did was get me frustrated and at the end of the day, I felt like I didn’t accomplish anything.

Now I just focus on 1-4 traffic strategies and work on those. Since doing that, I am getting much better results than I used to.

Plus it gives me more time to focus on other areas in my online business. Like content creation, product creation, video creation and etc.

I love blogging and working online, but we all know how much work goes into building a successful business.

Great tips about treating it like a business from day one. That’s what I’ve done since I started my new blog.

In the past, I refused to spend money on anything. Unfortunately, if you want to run a business then you have to spend money. The great thing is that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to run a blog.

Thanks for sharing these tips and I’ll be sure to share them as I know they will help so many people who are struggling to get traffic to their blog.

    Have a great day 🙂

    Hi Freddy,

We have to treat our blogs as a business. Once we put up the best content we can, we have to blast it out on all social media platforms. But that’s not enough. Having other people blast our content out is worth so much more. To do this, we have to be able to go to other’s blogs, leave an impressive comment (people read comments and surprisingly they will come to your blog if they are inspired by it) And share their stuff on social media.
This may sound simple, but following this formula can get so much traffic to your blog. For it is giving that we receive…

We can also repurpose our content in so many ways. We can do a short video about it, we can write something short on Facebook that leads back to our blog.

But most importantly, we have to give that CTA to drive that traffic where we want. We are giving content for free, but we can further that by offering an opt-in to our products and/or services on the specific topic. Before you know it, that traffic we are getting can become our new and valuable customers.

You are spot on! We need to treat our blogging as a real business because it really is.

We have to become smart bloggers, internet marketers, and influencers. These are some of the keys to success online. If you want this to pay you like a real business, then treat it like one! 😉

Thank you so much for coming by and leaving a valuable comment!

    Hi Freddy,

Thanks for these ideas! There are some that I haven’t done in a while like infographics and sharing my content on SlideShare.

One thing I’m working on is video. I know I’m missing out on tons of traffic but there is this little fear and it’s been holding me back. But I’m working on the courage to get in front of the camera. 🙂

Thanks for the cheat sheet. I can’t wait to dive into it!

      Hey Cori!!

      No problem! 🙂

I’m glad to hear that. It’s good to keep on learning and implementing.

I was also very shy to get in front of the camera, and still am, but did it anyway. I’m also shy at speaking in front of the mic. But, we must get out of our comfort zone in order to enter new realms of success. Ya know what I mean! 😉

You will do great. Just step over that little fear and get going. Sometimes, overthinking it can hold you back. You should create an actionable plan with video and just go for it!

Thank you so much for coming by and showing some support! I appreciate that!

      Best regards! 😀

For instance, I don’t know how much time you have to work on your marketing every day, if you have a few hours each day then maybe you can focus on at least 5 strategies – also, each strategy will take a different amount of time to implement, you know what I mean? It will come down to your productivity levels and time to work on such strategies.

But, I’d definitely suggest to keep learning and implement right away testing and tweaking to see what works best for you to reach more people in your niche audience.

You can find other ways to drive traffic to your website around my blog here. Just dig in through the blog posts! – I’d also suggest getting my traffic101 ebook where you will learn all of the strategies – you can get it here.

Keep up the good work man!

Thank you so much for coming by! 😀

      Best regards!

    Hey Freddy,
Amazing list of tips and info bro..
This is what everyone needs to focus on.
And this happened with me, seeing income reports of many famous bloggers & not be able to make even 1% of it. That’s I think is the motivator as well as demotivator.
As you have already mentioned “Newbies need to learn”…

Thanks for such an amazing post.

    Hi Freddy,

It is a two pronged difficulty – first is to get traffic and the second is conversion rate. Not very surprising that ninety percent of the blogs fail. But then there are ways to surmount the difficulty.

The fourteen tips you have given are great. They contain more tips than other articles on this topic. It is also encouraging to note that only in the beginning we need to promote heavily.

Thanks for sharing the useful tips with us. Have a great day!

      Hey Naveen!

Yup! You have to work on both, that is for sure! 😉

Driving traffic is all about consistent work with what works. Conversions is all about testing and tweaking until you find what works best.

I’m glad you’ve found this article helpful!

Thank you so much for coming by!

      Best regards! 😀
