It’s not such a big challenge to get more people to read your blog posts and build an audience.

If you know exactly what to do and how to do it (how to promote online and how to convert), you can generate a lot of blog traffic consistently and build the income you want.

I’m going to share with you the same strategies I have been using myself to build up the traffic flow to this internet marketing blog.

My best guess to this question would be that you are building your own blog because ultimately you want to build an online income from it. Right.


You want what I call the MTL Freedom Lifestyle. In other words; the dot-com lifestyle.

What does MTL stand for? – I’m glad you asked!

Money – Time – Location.

Running your own internet business (or online business) allows you to have real freedom with money, time, and location.

You can build a passive income using the power of the internet and blogging.

This type of income will allow you to have more free time to enjoy life and spend it with family and friends.

It is an amazing and powerful business model.

There are so many average people earning thousands of dollars every month with such business model.

And this business model will also allow you to work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a reliable internet connection.

So, it gives you real money-freedom, real time-freedom, and real location-freedom.

You get what I’m saying here?

I’m sure you have already read the success stories.

The common newbie problem

I often come across blogs that I know are getting a good amount of traffic every single day (because I’m a nerdy stalker) – and when I dig deeper on some of these blogs – I learn how much money they are earning each month (income reports).

And, I get a little disappointed, to be honest.


You see, I actually truly care about people.

And I know, for a fact, that if they improve and tweak a few things on their blog and the way they are doing things to increase conversions – they could double or even triple their profits.

Let’s say you are already getting a good amount of targeted traffic to your blog, but you are not making good money (or any money) from that revenue and haven’t for a while. You seem to have hit a plateau.

This is what will help you build that online income you are chasing.

You could drive a lot of traffic to your blog but if your conversion rates are very freaking low, you are not going to get the results you are looking for in the amount of time you are desiring to get them and eventually you might burn out.

This happens more often than you think.

This is why we have the statistics that we have.

More than 90% of people who start a blog – fail.

They say most people who start a blog with the intent to build an income from it – quit in the first 3 months.

I don’t like these statistics much. But, I understand it is human psychology; the more time you spend on something without a reward, the harder it will be to keep at it.

Newbies need to learn the right knowledge and the truth.

It does take a lot of time and effort to build a profitable blog online.

Blogging can be a legit business.

And if you want it to pay you like a business then work on it like it is a real business. Because it is.

That’s obvious.

You have to invest time, effort, and money. Just like you would in order to build any other type of business.

Blogging and internet marketing have tremendous potential to give you life changing income.

Just go ask Pat Flynn how he is doing with his blog. This guy is earning a 6-figure income every single month thanks to blogging and internet marketing.

Yes, I said every month, not every year. That’s insane, isn’t?

I’m sure you are aware of the tremendous life-changing potential in this industry by now.

Every single detail matters

Your blog needs to be on point right from the get-go.

You have to think about this; what you actually want is an audience and email list that will buy from you when you offer something of value.

The traffic that you generate will help you build this.

But, traffic alone will not do the trick.

You need high conversions.

You need to turn as many of your visitors into loyal readers and subscribers.

What helps with blog conversions?

User-experience (UX) and user-satisfaction.

This means your blog needs to be seamless and over-deliver in value to your niche audience.

It is super duper important that you work on how your blog looks and how it is structured.

Give your visitors great user-satisfaction.

The content that you publish often should also be of the highest quality.

Outwork your competition

Deliver way more value than the other bloggers in your niche.

This is a no-brainer.

Here is a tip.

When you are doing your keyword research, take a very close look at the top 10 search results.

Analyze each page carefully. Pay close attention to every single detail.

Ask questions like this;

How is the user experience of the page?

How valuable is the content they are sharing for that specific keyword?

What caught most of your attention when you saw the page in the search results?

And so on.

You have to be a smart blogger.

Once you gather enough data on your competition, work on delivering way better content than them.

Of course, you will have to also work on the traffic, don’t think that because you have a better blog site and content – that is enough for your blog to do better.

Everything matters here.

By following this advice you will notice your search engine ranking improve as well.

I suggest you create an account in the blogging community sites I’m sharing with you and every time you have a new blog post share it in them.

It is important that you read the guidelines of each one of these sites. Also, you want to actually become an active member of these blogging community sites.

Becoming an active member, engaging, leaving comments, and sharing members blog posts on your social networks is a must if you want to benefit from these blogging community sites.

The blog directory sites are for a one time use only. This means you will submit your blog once and that’s it.

I’ve included free and paid sites.

Another thing that I do to promote my new blog posts (and also old blog posts) is share them in as many social network groups as possible.

I have gathered a bunch of social groups with thousands of members where you can share your most valuable blog posts consistently. I would share new and old blog posts in these groups daily.

Important tip: there is a limit to how many social groups you can join in a 24 hour period, so make sure you are aware of this and follow the rules without freaking out.

I have an organized way to promote on these social groups using my web browser. You can learn how I do it in this blog post – the tips are for facebook groups but you can use the same strategy for any other social network.

Once you have published your new blog post – promote it like a maniac.

Trust me. If you do this consistently, you will start to pick up traffic momentum.

But you got to promote every single day!!

Of course, you will not be promoting like crazy forever.

Eventually, you will build an audience and a subscribers list.

Over time, you are not going to have to be promoting as much and you can outsource a lot of this work as you make money and reinvest back into your blogging business.

Just make sure your blog is fully optimized for email marketing.

Build your list

You want to benefit from all of the traffic you are going to be driving as much as possible.

Again, become a smart blogger.

Don’t let all of your hard work yield little to zero results.

7 – Share in relevant sub-Reddit categories with thousands of followers

8 – Repackage your content into PDF files and share them in document sites like

9 – Turn your best blog posts into Infographics and share them all over

10 – Turn your best blog posts into videos and upload them to Youtube

11 – Network with influential bloggers through blog comments

12 – Constantly share the content from other bloggers in your niche so they return the favor

13 – Link to your blog in forum signatures and engage consistently

14 – Start your own podcast show and interview influential bloggers in you niche

I think this is enough information for you to consume and start crafting your own custom promotion plan you can implement on a daily basis.
