How much passion do you have for writing? ..
…I honestly hated writing a lot ever since I was a kid.
I gotta be honest, I was a bit of a lazy boy when it came to homework and projects from school. But I did try. I was always very smart and I always knew I had a bright mind. idk 😀
For some reason I was not good at keeping up with homework and projects, but I would be good in tests. Not that I passed every exam, but I did good most of the time.
And the simple things that helped me be good at tests, was learning a topic (reading or listening) only once, and a lot of common sense.
I don’t really know how to explain this, but I use a lot of “logic”, common sense, and I try to force my brain to think really hard to become good at something and find a way to know the answers. 😉 …. you should do that too, if you want to become good at something!
Quick story!! .. 😀
You see, I came to the USA just a couple of months before turning 15 years old. I went to high school. Got in trouble a lot and followed the wrong crowd. I was somewhat a favorite student amongst my teachers, I guess they saw my potential. 🙂
I learned English fast and thanks to hanging out with students who didn’t speak my language, an ancient indigenous language from the far east.
Just kidding, Spanish. LOL ….
…well now that I think about it, is the Spanish language an ancient indigenous language??! .. 😮 lol
So I’ve come a long way and now I have no problem writing a lot, if I needed to. What made it a lot easier to just write now, is having to force myself to write a lot, on a daily basis, in the past.
Practice makes perfect! …
Not that achieving perfection is possible, because there will always be room for improvement. So I don’t tend to believe in achieving “full perfection” in any skill.
We could say that we are all perfect in our own way – meaning that you are going to be near perfect at something that I will never even be able to be close to good. LOL … and vice versa…
So imagine how much more perfection a group of people can achieve, working together. Putting all of their skills to work together.
Are you one of those night owls? …
Those who stay up until late hours of the night, surfing through the entertaining world of the cyberspace, a shout-out to you, if you are reading this (really really late at night). hehe
If you own a blog, and you are just wondering on the internet, doing nothing but piling up more information in your brain, you should think about writing just one more blog post.
What if you wrote a “late nigh blog post” every night, very consistently for a month or two?..
Would you do it and commit to do it? .
I know it’s hard to commit to blogging when you are a newbie online or just someone who doesn’t like writing much. I guess I should say the writing part is what might discourage many new bloggers online, to keep going. Not everyone can commit to writing a lot, every day or week.
And that is fine.
If you HATE writing right now and can’t commit to it, but you really want build a successful blog online at the same time – do not worry, that can be changed.
I also hated writing a lot, and to be honest sometimes I still do. But that depends a lot more on my mood than lacking what to write about.
I dropped out of High School at the beginning of my Junior Year, I believe. I can’t quite remember. I had a crazy teenage life.
About three years later, and really tired of working in construction and in many other miserable jobs already. I decided to sign up to take my “GED” test. That was the least I could do, right. I was turning 22 when I got my GED Certificate.
The funny thing is, I did not study anything at all for those three years (after dropping out). I did get the giant GED text-book, but only looked at it once. I was also still learning English.
And I passed the GED test in ONE TRY.
I seriously thought I was not going to pass it, because a lot of my friends (in the same situation as me), took the test and failed multiple times. They all even took GED preparation classes. I didn’t even know that existed. LOL
Now, I shared my quick story about how I shockingly passed a HUGE test, in my second language, with only one try. When all the people I knew, who were also taking the GED test, failed multiple times and had to go to classes for it.
I shared the story to show that anything is possible!! ..
And if I can overcome many things, to become a smart and intelligent human being, then you can do it too. All I really did was starting to use my brain for once! …
When you tap into that power source (brain power) and take some time to learn more about it, you can accomplish a lot.
If you HATE writing a lot right now…..
YOU CAN CHANGE THAT!! ..
Just force yourself to do it every day. Just do it. Eventually it will become a habit in your life. Just like the habit of brushing your teeth daily grew on you over the years, right! …
Consistency will be key to your success here. It will all come down to how bad do you want to succeed??! ..
Education was not something I was into growing up, but something about learning really intrigues me. And as I mature and evolve, as a human being, I tend to question everything and try to find the answers to meaningful life.
I loved the idea of building a successful blog online, and earn a passive income from it. To me, that is just the ultimate, best job in the entire universe! .. 😀
