The answer really depends.
Should you blog every day to increase traffic flow to a brand new blog site online? … Yes.
You don’t really have to blog every single day, in order to build a successful blog online. The raw truth is that you should actually work a lot more on the marketing of the blog posts you already have.
But publishing new content and sharing it all over the social networks and the internet, is a way of marketing your blog online.
So, if you really enjoy writing and you want to increase the daily traffic to your blog, I would suggest you to publish one valuable blog post every day.
Publishing fresh new content on a daily basis, can really help your blog become an authority site in front of the search engines and increase the daily traffic flow to the site.
Also. The more people visit your blog every single day, the better Alexa Rankings you will have. Not that an Alexa Ranking is sooo important … but it is nice to know you have built a successful blog online that has great rankings on the internet. 😀
I actually changed my mind a lot in this topic. I also asked myself many many times; “..should you blog every day in order to build a successful blog online??..”
I did my research through the years.
I took many opinions from many other successful bloggers.
I’ve seen some bloggers build a successful blog one way and others build a successful blog the opposite way.
I’ve seen some bloggers build a successful blog with just 4 – 10 blog posts a month and other bloggers build a successful blog with a new blog post every single day.
Here is an example of two bloggers who have built their blogs very differently:
Matthew Woodward from www.matthewwoodward.co.uk – it looks like he doesn’t really blog “every day” but he has built an amazing SEO blog. I’ve followed this guy for a while and he knows his stuff. He’s built this blog with zero backlinks and all with quality content.
Ray Higdon from www.rayhigdon.com – if you go to his blog, you will find out that this guy blogs every day. He has built a successful blog by sharing a valuable piece of content on his blog, every day. Very consistently.
Now, if you think about how these two guys built their successful blogs from scratch, you might find out they did it very differently. BUT the only thing that they most likely did the same, was the amount of Marketing they did for their Blog’s Content.
The key to make any blog, a successful blog, is the Marketing you do for the content.
And as I mentioned earlier, publishing a new valuable, unique, and interesting blog post every day – AND sharing it all over the Social Networks Online, IS a way of marketing your blog and the blog’s content.
You just have to work on driving traffic to your blog every single day. Focus a lot on the traffic flow to your blog every single day. If you do this for a while, you are definitely going to earn some money from the revenue to your blog.
Every day, spend one or two hours creating an awesome blog post, then publish it. The next 2 – 3 hours, spend it marketing the heck out of that blog post.
Doing this every day, will of course depend a lot on how much free time you have daily. If you have another job and you only got 2 – 3 hours to work on your blog, then simply work a lot more on your productivity to get this stuff done in that time period. No biggie. 😀
Don’t over complicate things.
Work your way around things!
If you are going full time blogging online, then this should be your daily routine.
Treat Blogging as a “Real Job”.
Treat it like a 6-Figure Business and get paid like a 6-Figure Earner. 😉 … just go ask Ray Higdon! ..
Should you blog every day?? ….
I’ve read a lot of different opinions from many other bloggers online. And to be honest, that just got me a bit more confused about the topic. And a bit harder to find the real answer to this question.
I’ve read somewhere that blogging daily can get overwhelming to the readers and newsletter subscribers, because of “too much” information, “too fast”. And because everyone subscribes to many different blogs online, their email inbox will be cluttered with new blog updates.
I can see how this might seem like a problem to many bloggers online, but the truth of the matter is that YOU are the one who is in control of how many blogs you subscribe to. Not the blog’s owner.
As the blogger, and the one publishing content regularly, I care more about WHAT content I deliver and not HOW often. If I happen to blog every single day, so be it. It is up to you to whether follow the blog and it’s constant new content.
I also thought that blogging daily and sending my subscribers and readers, an email update almost every day, was a bad idea. But I was wrong, and all thanks to the junk I read on the internet sometimes.
Sometimes you can be reading the wrong information or the wrong opinion online. So be careful! … you should subscribe to this blog, and get legit internet marketing knowledge foreal!! .. 😀
Let’s talk about emailing your subscribers or readers real quick…..
If someone told you that emailing your list every day is dumb or wrong or a bad idea….. then they are the ones who are actually dumb, wrong and have a bad idea. LOL (not offending anyone, just sayin’!)
Emailing your list everyday can be very beneficial to the rapport you have to build with them. You want the people who subscribe to listen to you, to listen to you!
If you don’t email your list very very often, and I’m talking about EVERY DAY often, then they are not going to get used to seeing your emails in their inbox.
I’ve learned a lot from top producers in this industry. I’ve learned what I know today from guys like Daegan Smith, Tracey Walker, Rob Fore, Ray Higdon, David Wood, David Sharpe, Aaron Rashkins, and many other leaders in this industry….
All of the successful internet marketers online say this; “the more often you email your list, the faster you are going to build a relationship”..
And of course, is not as simple as saying it, you have to do the right things. And implement the right knowledge in the art of email marketing.
You need to learn how to build a great relationship with your subscribers through email. It doesn’t matter how often you email them, what matters is what you are emailing them.
How much VALUE are you providing them with?
Are you making your emails all about you and what YOU are doing? ..
…or are your emails all about THEM and what is the benefit of doing business with you and keep opening your emails?..
These are some great questions that can help you improve your email marketing results.
But anyways….. I just went from the blogging topic to email marketing! LOL 😀

The bottom line here is that you will never know what works best for you, until you actually implement the strategy and see for yourself what type of results you get.
So, blogging daily is not such a bad idea. And if you don’t really have the time to do it, then just don’t do it. Is that simple. You always can work your way around it.
You just will never know if blogging daily works for your or not, until you do it a lot and get results from doing it.
