Out of the 7.2 billion people on this planet, 2.1 of them have social media accounts according to Jeff Bullas.
Now, I do not know about you, but that is a lot of users.
Our lives revolve around it, and we spend most of our time keeping ourselves posted on what’s happening in the world.
It is almost as if everyone’s lives now depend on it—a day would never be complete without browsing our social media accounts and getting engrossed in them.
It is no wonder why marketers have found this as a perfect opportunity to let the world know about the industry that they are so passionate about.
Social media is the perfect place to earn residual income; that is, through effective content creation and marketing.
What is ‘Residual Income’?
Residual income also refers to “passive income”.
It was named as such because you get to earn continuously money even when you are not working ‘round-the-clock.
Recurring income—as what it is also fondly called—is something that you receive after you have put in much time, effort, and finances to a job or business.
Examples of residual income in the context of online marketing are the creation of landing pages for affiliate products, the creation of exclusive content for sale, and more.
Social Media Management Tools
In online marketing, it is always important to keep up with trends, especially the ones that would benefit you and your business.
However, there would be days when you will not be able to monitor your social media accounts religiously because of time constraints and other circumstances.
Fortunately, social media management tools like Buffer lets you queue your posts in advance so you won’t have to worry about having gaps in your social media timeline because you were not able to post anything on a given date.
The paid version gives you access to the Power Scheduler feature, which lets you schedule the social media posting on a single post multiple times.

The best example of a social networking platform that you can use Buffer for is Twitter.
Tweets are known to have shorter periods of validity and recall.
With Buffer, you can easily and instantly post multiple tweets about the same content, which maximizes your content as it reaches more readers or viewers.
On a slightly different note, there is another tool that you can use to expand your social circle online so you could earn more.
BuzzBundle lets you scour the site for mentions and readers’ comments that are relevant to your content.
Its usage is quite simple—just input the necessary keyword/s and the tool will do all the work for you.
It will look for mentions from various platforms such as blogs, forums, and other online sources where social interaction is very active.
Moreover, it does not end there—you also get to pick the comments and mentions that you need and convert users into possible customers.
It can track competition and gives you the power to send multiple messages to different networks all at the same time.
Sounds smart, eh?
How to use the tools to earn money
Now that you have the tools at your disposal, here are ways you can use them to earn residual income.
Tweet affiliate products and encourage them to purchase from you.
Affiliate marketing is still as profitable as ever.
By providing your audience with helpful content that funnels them down into buying your affiliate product, you can drum up interest to your site pages and increase your sales.
To efficiently promote your content to your target audience, you need to tap into the power of social media.
Using Buffer, you can automate the sharing process by using the Power Scheduler feature.
With just a couple of clicks of a button, you can create customized social media posts by bulk and schedule them for publishing.
You can then track which posts perform the best in terms of engagements, likes, comments, and more.
How does this help you earn passive income?
The doozy with social media is that you have to log in at certain times to post your message and log out when you finish.
This could take up unnecessary time that you could have used doing other things.
Buffer eliminates this problem by scheduling everything in one fell swoop.
No longer will you log in and out multiple times in days to post your message.
By cutting down the time in your social media posting, you can focus on earning and making more money!
Hijack forums, blogs, and discussion boards talking about your target keyword.
If you are optimizing for a particular keyword or intend to make a sale using such, then you need to find places where people are talking about it.
Upon finding them, you can join in the discussions and engage with other users and add value to the conversation by raising awareness about the topic.
Doing this compels users to check for more information from you, which gives you one foot in to convert them into sales.
This is where BuzzBundle comes in handy.
With just a click of a button, the tool will return you pages where people are talking about your keyword.
From here, you can just log in and join in the discussion!
How does this help you earn passive income?
The idea of passive income is to hack your way into making a profit.
BuzzBundle will not exactly do all the social media work for you (since getting people to purchase from you is still your job).
However, the tool cuts down the time searching for pages where people are talking about your keyword.
Instead of spending hours and days finding the best places where you can make a sale, it will only take you minutes to find everything using BuzzBundle!
Conclusion
Because of the various social media techniques that you can come up with using the featured tools above, you’d be able to earn residual income without breaking a sweat.
However, you need to come up with a strategy on how to use the tools to your advantage.
The two tools above only cover part of your online strategy to earn passive income.
“How do you create your start to find social media campaign,” asks Shout CEO Michael Jenkins in his advice regarding social media strategy.
“You start out by creating specific goals. Then you need to extend outward to create the elliptical sphere and focus next on your target market and the best type of content to create for that audience. Just take it step by step to get the most out of your social media campaign.”
Suffice to say, these tools are not the solution to financial freedom through residual income. However, they can be means to attaining this goal, if used correctly.

Hey Freddy and Chris,
Buffer is a powerful tool to get your content as well as other’s content out there. As a matter of fact, I just started using Bufferapp’s Pablo for more branding purposes.
I never heard of BuzzBundle and it sounds like something that I’m looking for. I’ve built up a decent size community and I’m always looking for more people to network with. Since I’m press for time, this tool sounds like it would be convenient for me to find people based on the keywords I use for my blog posts. Anything that cuts the time and give me the best outcome is what I’m looking for.
Thanks for the share you two! I hope you’re enjoying the weekend!

Hello Freddy And Chris,

Keep up the great work!
Have a fantastic week brother! :D
Buzzbundle is also a tool I stumbled upon recently. It’s a really great social media listening tool that shows pages online where your keyword is mentioned. From there, you can reply or react to the content in the hopes of creating more buzz to your site or blog! Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for the tips. I agree with you that automating everything as much as possible is the key, so you can focus on what is really important.
These are good tips. I do worry about people that don’t think of their followers and bombard them with too many tweets that don’t ad value. 1 or 2 tweets on a blog post is fine. 5 is enough to have be unfollow. People need to think of cultivating followers and fans. Within the context of providing high value to them, doing some selling is fine.
Hey John!
I’m happy to see you learning here man!
And yeah, you need to really care about your followers and people who support you online.
Lead with value, and implement an 80/20 concept. 80% of the time share value, and 20% of the time make your offers. ;)
Thank you for passing by and leaving a comment man!
Have a fantastic week! :D
