There are many reasons why WordPress is at the top of the blogging platforms online and as you gain more experience blogging online, you will learn why WP is the blogging platform to use if you want to have a lot more control over your blog site.
What you probably want to take care of the most would be your blogspot.com blog’s URLs, search engine traffic, Google Pagerank & RSS Subscribers, when you are switching from one blogging platform to another one.
When you switch from blogger.com to wordpress.org – you do not want to lose anything at all.
You want to keep as much as possible, especially when there is a lot of content and a lot of work put into the blog.

4 – Scroll down to ‘Edit Template HTML’ – select the entire code that is in it & then right-click & ‘Paste’ the new script code.
Now every visitor coming to your .blogspot.com blog site is going to be redirected to your new wordpress blog.
Once all of the above is done, go to your blogspot blog site and click on a post – see if it redirects to your new WP Blog.
Once last thing you should do here, would be to redirect your RSS Subscribers to your new RSS Feed from your new WordPress Blog.
Here is what you need to do:
1 – Go to your .blogspot.com blog dashboard – go to ‘Settings’ – look for ‘Post Feed Redirect URL’ & then enter your new RSS Feed URL.
Now, every time someone subscribes to your RSS Feed through your .blogspot.com blog – they will be subscribing to your new WP Blog’s RSS Feed.
